You can use projects to find new partners from the backlog and to progress the partner through various stages on the journey. The kanban board allows you to drag a partner from one status to the next. There are several projects that your team can deploy: New Partnerships and Co-Selling.
New Partnerships project
The New Partnerships project is the primary kanban board where your teams can find new partners and can progress partners through pre-curated steps that end in the final step of “reached trusted/expert/certified status.”
Below are definitions of a few of the steps in the New Partnerships project.
- Backlog: find new partners in your vertical; this list will continually refresh as new SaaS companies are added to the Partnerhub ecosystem.
- Not a fit: if you pass on a potential partner, the profile moves to the Not a Fit column and you are asked to provide a reason for passing on the partnership opportunity.
- Vetting: if you deploy a potential partner, the profile moves to the Vetting column and triggers a notification to the SaaS partner that you have deployed their profile. The SaaS partner then gets the opportunity to review your agency profile and approve or deny the partnership -- you will receive a notification with their response
The following stages will trigger notifications to the SaaS partner (note - all stages with an asterisk in the title trigger a notification the to the partner):
- Not a fit / delete*
- Vetting*
- Scheduled lunch & learn*
- Account mapping*
- Product education phase*
- Announcements posted / scheduled*
- Reached trusted / expert / certified status*
Co-Selling Project
We recommend that you start your partner vetting process on the New Partnerships project, however, once you are ready to start a co-selling routine, move to the Co-Selling project. The Co-Selling project is made up of the following stages.
- Co-selling partners
- Invited to map accounts*
- Scheduled a call to review*
- Began intros to overlapping audiences*
- Create a piece of content together*
- Share one-pager with their sales team*
- Partners on repeating co-selling calls
- Not a fit for co-selling

Deploying Projects
To take advantage of any of the projects described above, you or a member of your team must deploy the project. To do so, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the Projects page from the left side navigation
- Click New
- Click on the title of the project you want to deploy
Adding Partners to a Project
When adding a partner to a project, Partnerhub sends out a notification to partner to inform them that you added their team to a given project. Projects operate independently so if a partner needs tracking in multiple projects, add the partner to each project.
To add a partner to a project:
- Navigate to the project
- Click Add Partner in the Request Sent column of the kanban board
- Select the partner from the dropdown menu of partners
